Earlier this year StatsNZ consulted on the future of industrial classification in Aotearoa New Zealand. This latest consultation looks at occupation classification with the aim being to develop and sustain a system that is relevant to the local workforce, as well as aligning sufficiently with international classification systems so as to retain comparability with other territories.
