Victoria Blood – Leader

Victoria has enjoyed a 40-year career in the international music industry – much of it based in London. During the 1990s she was Head of Marketing and Creative Development at BMG/RCA UK, and also set up BMG’s film, tv, and video arm. In 1997, Victoria co-founded the Byrne Blood Group, which became the pop powerhouse of the time, selling over 20 million records. Intending to semi-retire in NZ in 2004, she instead discovered Gin Wigmore, and managed her until 2010. She has been Chair of the NZ Music Commission since March 2013, Leader of WeCreate since 2015, and joined the NZ Story Group Advisory Board in 2022. She loves music, books, travel, and food.
